Families pressured to terminate pregnancies with Down Syndrome

Research shows many families are being pressured to terminate pregnancies once Down Syndrome is detected. Down Syndrome Australia has surveyed more than 300 families about their experiences with prenatal screening and says more training is needed for medical professionals. Ellen Skladzien is the CEO of Down Syndrome Australia and says doctors make many assumptions.
