There is news of reconciliation between the farmers and the administration in the case of violence in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh. According to media reports, the assurance of arrest of the accused in 8 days, along with giving compensation of Rs 45-45 lakh to the kin of the deceased farmers, has been agreed for judicial investigation. There is also one thing in conciliation that the retired judge of the High Court will investigate the matter.
