'Aerial footage captured by Ghady Assaf shows the distressing aftermath of the massive Beirut explosion that occurred on August 4, 2020, and was felt across multiple countries including Syria, Turkey, and parts of Europe.

"The explosion in Beirut port was deemed one of the biggest non-nuclear explosions in history," the filmer wrote. "More than 200 people died and thousands were injured. Before leaving the city, I decided to take some shots with my drone to make a short film and show what the explosion did to the capital of Lebanon."

The montage shows the destroyed port, as well as, the state of the properties that were caught in the disaster.

This video also serves as the perfect example of the quote, "No matter what happens, life goes on," as people can be seen carrying on with their lives as they drive around the city amid the chaos.
