यूपी की योगी सरकार का रविवार की शाम बहुप्रतीक्षित मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार हो गया। विधानसभा चुनाव से केवल छह महीने पहले हुए योगी मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार में सात विधायकों को मंत्री बनाया गया है।उत्तर प्रदेश में अगले साल होने वाले विधानसभा चुनाव से ठीक पहले बीजेपी यूपी में जातीय संतुलन को साधने की कवायद में जुट गए हैं। जिस तरह प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार में यूपी के जातीय समीकरण का पूरा खयाल रखा था ठीक उसी तरह योगी ने भी छोटी-छोटी जातियों को प्रतिनिधित्व देने का काम किया है संयोग से मोदी सरकार में भी एक ब्राह्मण और छह ओबोसी या दलित के सांसद को मंत्री बनाया गया था। योगी सरकार में भी एक ब्राह्मण और छह ओबीसी या दलित को मंत्री बनाया गया है। मोदी की तरह योगी सरकार ने भी ओबीसी में गैर यादव और दलित में गैर जाटव को सरकार में शामिल किया है।
