China's Fujian Province Reports More Than 100 Cases Of Coronavirus, Xiamen City Placed In Lockdown

Fresh rise in Covid-19 cases in China, have forced authorities to reimpose lockdown. Coronavirus cases have doubled in China’s southeastern province of Fujian. Due to the rising cases, China has shut down schools, put in place travel restrictions. China ordered nucleic acid tests for millions in the eastern province of Fujian. Caseload of new Covid-19 infections more than doubled to over 100. People have been directed to leave their houses only for essential needs. The new cases have so far been concentrated in three cities, Putian, Quanzhou and the provincial capital, Xiamen. Lockdown has been imposed in Putian & Xiamen to restrict the further spread of the virus. Watch the video to know more.
