Delhi Police Stops Suicide Bid, Congress Leader Alka Lamba Tweets Video

Delhi police saved the life of a 42-year-old man, who was allegedly trying to commit suicide. Delhi police immediately rushed to the spot after a video of him was uploaded on social media. The man was trying to jump down from Andrews Ganj flyover on September 12. In the video posted by Congress leader Alka Lamba on Twitter, the man is seen standing on the guardrail of the flyover. As per reports, he was “disappointed” with his life in Delhi. The police team tried talking to the man and also put up a net on the road below the flyover for safety. Meanwhile, one of the policemen walked towards the man & pulled him away from the guardrail, reported The Indian Express. DCP South Delhi tweeted, “Personnel of PS Kotla Mubarakpur have done commendable work by saving a precious life.”
