Targeting former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh and BJP, National Spokesperson of NCP, Nawab Malik on September 8 said that Singh levelled allegations against the former home minister of Maharashtra on the behest of BJP. “NIA's chargesheet in Antilia case raised many questions. Sachin Waze was framed as the main accused. From day one, we are saying that Param Bir Singh levelled allegations against Anil Deshmukh to save himself. He misled the Chief Minister and others. He met Waze behind closed doors. Findings of the chargesheet imply that the person behind manipulation is not being questioned. He framed the minister on the behest of BJP,” he added.
