Syed Ali Shah Geelani, a Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader and pro-Pakistan, passed away on 1 September. Several videos of separatist Syed Ali Shah Geelani's body draped in a Pakistani flag have surfaced on the internet before being taken into custody by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. As soon as the whole matter came to the notice, the police, showing strictness, registered a case under the Anti-Terrorism Act, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act or UAPA.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के अलगाववादी नेता और पाकिस्तान समर्थक सैयद अली शाह गिलानी का 1 सितंबर को निधन हो गया था। इंटरनेट पर जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस द्वारा हिरासत में लिए जाने से पहले अलगाववादी सैयद अली शाह गिलानी के शव को पाकिस्तानी झंडे में लपेटे जाने के कई वीडियोज सामने आए हैं। इस पूरे मामले के संज्ञान में आते ही पुलिस ने सख्ती दिखाते हुए आतंकवाद विरोधी कानून गैरकानूनी गतिविधि रोकथाम अधिनियम या यूएपीए के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है।
