Nuclear power plan sparks criticism

As South Africa restarts its nuclear build plan, critics and advocates clash over its clean energy credentials. Experts have also weighed in, calling the plan costly and wasteful Mineral resources and energy Department announced last week it planned to put the nuclear build programme out to tender at the end of the 2021/22 financial year.
