Independent school network, Curro has recorded solid growth in pupil numbers, despite disruptions caused by COVID-19. In its interim results, Curro says average pupil numbers increased by seven percent. The growth in pupils boosted revenue 12 percent, to over R1.7 billion. Curro says its bad debt increased as a result of the pandemic, but it was able to grant more fee discounts. It granted non-recurring discount relief of 60 million rand in the reporting period.
