Flooding in central China continued to cause havoc in both cities and rural areas, with authorities saying Friday that 21 people had been killed and another four were missing, the Associated Press reported. Over 8,000 people were affected in Hubei province, where floodwaters rose to 3.5 meters (11.4 feet) following torrential rains that began Wednesday. Homes and shops were submerged, and local power, tap water and communication disrupted, with damage to property running into hundreds of millions. Watch the report.
