Munger MP and close aide of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh have been elected as the new Janata Dal (United) national president. Singh replaces RCP Singh, who offered to step down as he has been inducted as a Cabinet minister in the Modi government.
