Coronavirus: India reports 40K+ cases for 2nd day

India on Thursday reported over 40,000 new Covid-19 infections for the second day running. The latest government data says that 41,383 fresh coronavirus cases were reported in the last 24 hours. The fatalities tally also witnessed a slump as there was no backlog reconciled by any state.
