Due to the torrential rains, various disastrous results have been witnessed in many districts. Flash flood occured in Himachal Pradesh while there was disaster seen due to the cracking of the mountain. Roads were closed due to heavy rains in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. Three people have been washed away in the spate of the Ravi river and ten houses in Kangra suffered heavy damage. The Air Force had to be deployed to rescue five people from the banks of the Ujj river in Kathua. SDRF saved four, whereas the remaining one was saved with the help of air force.
