Global campaign aims to help communities get access to clean water | New Day

Billions of people around the world do not have access to safe and clean water.
In 2019, the World Health Organization reported that here in the Philippines one in 10 people still do not have access to improved water sources.
With this in mind, child-focused group "World Vision" is holding a fundraising virtual run event called "Global 6K for Water."
World Vision says six kilometers is the average distance people in developing areas would have to walk to get access to clean water.
