The Modi cabinet expansion took place yesterday where the newly elected ministers took oath. From today the ministers took charge of their duties. Anurag Thakur reached the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting early in the morning and took charge, then the new Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took charge in the Ministry of Railways. At the same time, Meenakshi Lekhi who has been made Minister of State for External Affairs also started her work on the first day of duty. In a special conversation with Aaj Tak, Meenakshi Lekhi said that if women have been given responsibility in foreign policy, then it is a big deal.
