Amidst the farmers' protests, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has again stressed on having dialogue with the farmers. It has been said from his side that the Government is ready to hold talks. On the other hand, Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi has made a harsh comment on the farmers and called them 'Mawali'. She said on their behalf that the farmers are only helping the middlemen. Even before this, on the Pegasus controversy, Meenakshi Lekhi had said that an attempt is being made to create a fake narrative through this controversy. She said that this story is completely fake.
