Centre free to take action against Twitter, says Delhi HC

Hearing a petition seeking action against Twitter's non-compliance with IT rules, the Delhi High Court said on Tuesday that it won't be extending any protection to the social media giant. "Centre is free to take any action," said the High Court on the matter.

Twitter has sought one day's time to respond to the Delhi High Court's query on how long it will take to appoint a residence grievance officer.
