When an interpreter is inside the military base, he is more secure because nobody can come to kill him inside the base.
Once we pull out these interpreters are nowhere to live, they have to go back to their villages and there are easy target for the taliban to kill them.
AS THE US PREPARES TO PULL OUT OF AFGHANISTAN, A FORMER INTERPRETER TO OUR TROOPS WANTS TO MAKE SURE THOSE WHO HELPED THE USA ARE NOT ABANDONED.
THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION RECENTLY CHANGING IT'S POLICY AND ANNOUNCING THAT IT WOULD BEGIN RELOCATING AFGHAN INTERPRETERS, DRIVERS AND OTHERS WHO WORKED WITH US FORCES, PROVIDING LIFE SAVING LOCAL ASSISTANCE.
THOSE ADVOCATING FOR THIS CHANGE SAY- THIS COMES NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON, AND THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW AS THE TALIBAN ARE BECOMING MORE RUTHLESS AS AMERICA LEAVES THE AREA.
