According to Business Insider, U.S President Donald Trump has failed to fulfill his campaign promise of beefing up the military's budget. As a result the US military's readiness, performance, and accident reduction efforts have faltered. America's ability to keep peace worldwide has been affected, and Congress has been unable to unilaterally increase spending. The news is more alarming as America’s rivals, including Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, rapidly build up their arsenals.
