The cases of infection in the second wave of corona have now reduced to a great extent. On Tuesday, more than 50 thousand new cases were registered, whereas the day before that there were lesser cases. Meanwhile, the threat of a third wave is also looming. Scientists of IIT Kanpur claim that if precautions are not taken, then by September-October, the third wave of corona may come in the country. Senior Scientist Prof. Rajesh Ranjan and Prof. Mahendra Verma has made this claim by analyzing the data of the second wave on the basis of mathematical models, points of time, parameters etc. He has warned that the situation will start worsening from August itself and during the third wave in October, up to three lakh cases of infection are expected daily. In such a situation, it is very important to take some precautions, so that the dangers of possible wave can be reduced.

कोरोना की दूसरी लहर में संक्रमण के मामले अब काफी हद तक कम हो गए हैं। बीते मंगलवार को 50 हजार से अधिक नए मामले दर्ज किए गए थे, जबकि उससे एक दिन पहले इससे भी कम मामले थे। इस बीच तीसरी लहर का खतरा भी मंडराने लगा है। आईआईटी कानपुर के वैज्ञानिकों का दावा है कि अगर सावधानी नहीं बरती गई तो सितंबर-अक्तूबर तक देश में कोरोना की तीसरी लहर आ सकती है। वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक प्रो. राजेश रंजन और प्रो. महेंद्र वर्मा ने गणितीय मॉडल के आधार पर दूसरी लहर के आंकड़ों, समय, मापदंडों आदि बिंदुओं पर विश्लेषण कर यह दावा किया है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि अगस्त से ही स्थिति खराब होनी शुरू हो जाएगी और अक्तूबर में तीसरी लहर के दौरान रोजाना तीन लाख तक संक्रमण के मामले आने की उम्मीद है। ऐसे में कुछ सावधानियां बरतनी बेहद ही जरूरी हैं, जिससे संभावित लहर के खतरों को कम किया जा सके
