Employers making some workers pay for superannuation rise

Large publicly listed companies including Telstra, AGL, ANZ and Macquarie Group are among the employers asking some staff to fund an increase in superannuation payments. It’s set to rise from 9.5 percent to 10 percent from July 1, but some big companies are sending letters to workers saying the staff member will have to fund the rise from their wages, which means a pay cut.
