In a shocking incident, a team of police including the Sub-Divisional Police Officer was attacked in Malkangiri. The incident was reported from Marangpali village under Kalimela Police limits of Malkangiri. According to reports, the police team was attacked during a raid at a gambling den in Marangpali village. Soon after the incident, more police teams reached the spot to rescue the attacked police officials. Following the incident, the Malkangiri Police has arrested 12 persons in connection with the incident.
