Mumbai:NCB team attacked by mob during raid in Goregaon

A team of Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) was attacked by a mob of around 50 to 60 people during a raid at Goregaon in Mumbai on Sunday. The incident took place near the Goregaon Railway Station where NCB officials had intercepted three drug peddlers. Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede was leading the operation along with five others from NCB where a 20-year-old peddler, identified as Carry Mendes, was intercepted and LSD was recovered from him.
