This could easily be one of the most bizarre marriage ceremonies. As you can see here, the groom dressed up for the occasion is all set to tie the knot. But in an embarrassing turn of events, a woman claiming to be the groom’s first wife turns up at the venue with police. And before anyone could understand anything, the groom is in police custody.

This drama unfolded at Sartol Chandi Temple under Madhupatana Police limits of Cuttack. The woman, Jayanti Samal claiming to be the wife of the groom, Prakash Samal turned up at the marriage venue with police. What is more embarrassing is that Prakash’s alleged 2nd wedding was almost over. But this is when the police turned up acting on a complaint filed by Jayanti.

Prakash has however claimed that he had to take such a step because Jayanti was unwilling to settle their marital discord amicably.
