India records 92,596 fresh Covid cases, over 2,200 deaths

India has recorded 92,596 fresh Covid-19 cases and 2,219 deaths in the past 24 hours, showing a slight increase in the number of new cases from Monday’s tally. With the fresh spike, India’s Covid case tally has now reached 2,90,89,069. Apart from the fresh cases, 2,219 deaths were also reported in the country in the past 24 hours, taking India’s total Covid-19 death toll to 3,53,528.
