Black fungus infection i.e. mucormycosis is proving fatal for patients who have been cured of corona. Experts say that when the infection has become fatal and patients have lost their eyesight, doctors have to remove their eyes to prevent the infection from reaching the brain. कोरोना से ठीक हो चुके मरीजों के लिए ब्लैक फंगस संक्रमण यानी म्यूकरमाइकोसिस जानलेवा साबित हो रहा है। कई मरीजों की तो आंखें तक निकालनी पड़ रही हैं, क्योंकि संक्रमण को फैलने से रोकने का यही तरीका है। पूरे देश में ऐसे कई मरीज हैं, जिन्हें म्यूकरमाइकोसिस के कारण अपनी आंखें खोनी पड़ी हैं। विशेषज्ञ कहते हैं कि जब संक्रमण घातक हो चुका होता है और मरीजों की आंखों की रोशनी जा चुकी होती है, तब संक्रमण को दिमाग तक पहुंचने से रोकने के लिए डॉक्टरों को उनकी आंख निकालनी पड़ती है। इसके अलावा चूंकि कोरोना वायरस आंखों के जरिये भी शंरीर में प्रवेश कर सकता है, इसलिए यह जरूरी है कि लोग अपनी आंखों की अच्छे से देखभाल करें, ताकि किसी भी तरह के संक्रमण का खतरा न हो।
