Delhi hospital directs nurses to use only Hindi, English language to communicate

The Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (GIPMER) in Delhi has issued a controversial notice which directs the nursing staff to communicate in English or Hindi or else they will face action. The order said "serious action" would be taken if anyone is heard using any other language for communication.The direction to the nursing staff was issued after a complaint was received over the use of the Malayalam language.
