Siblings lose parents to Covid-19, appeal for UP government’s help

Three siblings sought help from the Uttar Pradesh government after their parents and grandparents died from Covid-19. Left with nothing, Covid-19 has orphaned the three children. Within a month, all four adult members of the family died due to Covid-19. Under the Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, the state government provides financial assistance to a child's guardian, while those who do not have anyone to look after them will be sent to children's homes.
