Situation remains tensed in U.P's muzaffarnagar district after 27 people were killed and several others injured in clashes. Shoot at sight orders have been issued in Muzaffarnagar district.
MHA has now sought a report from the Uttar Pradesh government and has alerted the state that efforts are being made to destroy communal harmony .
Indefinite curfew has been imposed in the riot-hit areas and army has been called in as a precautionary measure and situation is tense, but normal.
