Demonetisation Forces Migrant Workers to Stop Work and Head Back Home

Several news reports have stated that the working class has been especially hit hard by demonetisation. In order to find out more, The Wire spoke to many migrant workers at the Old Delhi Railway Station to understand the kind of problems they were facing ever since Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes ceased to be legal tender over two weeks ago.
