Gardening Gives the Kids of Migrant Workers a Head Start
  • 3 years ago
Gro More Good Garden Grants lets kids get their hands dirty and teaches them about where their food comes from. The East Coast Migrant Head Start program gets kids of migrant farm workers involved in planting and growing produce in their preschool garden. It gives families access to fresh, healthy food and helps promote healthy eating and living and ties the kids back to the work their parents do.
