Namibia rejects German aid offer
Ethnic leaders in Namibia who represent the Herero and Nama people have rejected financial aid by Germany. The German government has offered to provide Namibia with more than R1billion, as a means to apologise for the massacres that took place during the German colonial rule. Thousands of Nama and Herero people were killed from 1904 to 1908. Namibian Chiefs have called the German aid insulting. Courtesy #DStv403
