The rise of mucormycosis in Indore adds to the patients' misery. The government is unable to provide Amphotericin B, which is required for treatment, due to an increase in the number of cases of black fungus. The city has a three-member nodal committee which approves the supply of the drug but seems inefficient in doing so.
