Locals queue up for ‘Ayurvedic medicine’ to cure Covid in Nellore

Despite the second wave of Covid-19, the locals flouted social distancing norms in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore. They gathered in very large numbers at Krishnapatnam village where an Ayurvedic practitioner was distributing “medicines” for Covid-19. Hundreds of people were seen queuing to get the medicine. However, there is no scientific evidence of this medicine to cure Covid but it didn’t defer locals to line up for it.
