India has recorded 2,59,551 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours while another 4,209 people have died due to the disease. Top five states which have registered maximum cases are Tamil Nadu with 35,579 cases, followed by Kerala with 30,491 cases, Maharashtra with 29,911 cases, Karnataka with 28,869 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 22,610 cases.
