Cyclone Tauktae has intensified in to VSCS (very severe cyclonic storm) in Kerala as well as Goa. Rough weather and heavy rainfall prevailed in coastal areas of Goa. Sea turbulence observed at Kappad Beach in Kerala’s Kozhikode. The district also witnessed heavy rainfall. The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rainfall at many places in Kerala with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places on May 16 and heavy rain at isolated places on May 17.
