The torrential rains triggered the state of Kerala's worst flooding in nearly a century, reportedly destroying thousands of homes and roads. On Saturday, the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs said that the deadly rains and high waters deluging the southern Indian state of Kerala are expected to recede.
