A fungal infection called mucormycosis or "black fungus" is being detected in covid-19 patients. The symptoms of the infection are blackening or discoloration over the nose, blurred or double vision, chest pain, breathing difficulties, and coughing blood. The infection mainly affects people who are on medication for health problems and lose the ability to fight environmental pathogens.
