Only locals in 18-44 age group to get Covid vaccine in UP, migrants in Noida, Ghaziabad worry | Ground Report

Days after Uttar Pradesh started the vaccination of those aged between 18 and 44 years, authorities have mandated that the beneficiaries must produce a local address proof to get the jab. While earlier vaccines for the 18+ age group was opened in 7 districts of UP, it has now started the drive in 11 districts.
All state government websites, which have the facility of booking vaccine dates, show slots only for UP residents. Address proofs like Aadhaar, passport, driving license, ration card and voter card etc have been made necessary for vaccination. Watch India Today's ground report for more!
