A section of business people in Isebania at the Kenya-Tanzania border now say the visit by president Samia Suluhu of Tanzania have expressed hope that the renewed relations between Kenya and Tanzania will improve trade relations. The traders and residents who operates on both sides of the countries as businessmen/women and traders said that the visit should help smoothen the trade relationship that has for many years been bad and frosty. They now want the visit to act as symbol of unity and help amend the rifts that have dogged the two countries over the past seven years.
