R Ashwin became the first Indian cricketer to withdraw from the Indian Premier League 2021. The Delhi Capitals' spinner had said that he is taking a break from IPL 2021 to support his family during their fight against COVID-19. Almost a week after Ashwin's withdrawal, his wife Prithi has revealed that 10 people of their family had tested positive for the infection.

रविचंद्रन अश्विन की पत्नी प्रीति नारायणन का कहना है कि उनके परिवार के 10 सदस्य पिछले सप्ताह कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए थे। स्पिनर रविचंद्रन अश्विन की पत्नी प्रीति नारायणन ने बताया कि उनके परिवार के कुल 10 सदस्य पिछले हफ्ते कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए। मालूम हो कि आइपीएल में दिल्ली कैपिटल्स के लिए खेलने वाले अश्विन ने कोरोना से जूझ रहे परिवार की सहायता के लिए रविवार को आइपीएल बीच में ही छोड़ने का फैसला किया था।
