Nick Cave’s Partner Anita Lane’s Cause of Death is Unknown

Australian singer-songwriter and a member of The Bad Seeds with Nick Cave, Anita Lane’s cause of death is still unknown after she passed away at the age of 62.

Anita Lane, one of the creative powerhouses who emerged from the vibrant Melbourne post-punk scene, took her last breath in April 2021.

Her unique spirit and artistic and literal brilliance caused her to become engaged in the explosive brilliance of the early Birthday Party co-writing songs such as A Dead Song, Dead Joe, and Kiss Me Black along with her then-partner Nick Cave and there were more planned collaborations with the Bad Seeds.

Her important role in that scene saw her work with various members of the loose collective of Australian mavericks and their new brightly shining friends in Berlin and London as well as her own lost gems of solo albums that underlined her own shooting star creative brilliance.
