Fearing lockdown, migrant workers leave Dharavi

Known as Asia's largest slum, Dharavi in Mumbai is witnessing an exodus once again as Covid-induced restrictions bring local businesses to a standstill. On Sunday, another 76 people in Dharavi tested positive for Covid-19, pushing the area's tally of active cases to 2,039. According to one corporator, around 25,000 migrant workers from Dharavi have already returned to their native villages amid reports of a strict lockdown in Maharashtra. Watch video.
