India in Lockdown: The plight of migrant workers

On labour day today, when MHA allowed movement of stranded labourers we reminisce the exodus of migrant workers seen as a nationwide lockdown was announced to control the spread of Covid-19. The lockdown halted transport and shut borders, forcing many families to walk on foot towards their hometowns, however far they may be. Watch the video to see helpless workers walking towards their homes with nothing but hope in the eyes.
