Home Minister Amit Shah visited the state after this year's biggest Naxalite attack on the border of Bijapur and Sukma in Chhattisgarh. He visited the CRPF camp in Bijapur and met the soldiers and also encouraged them. Shah assured that the martyrdom of the soldiers would not go in vain. State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was also present along with Amit Shah during the meeting with the injured jawans. At the same time, addressing the soldiers, Amit Shah asked the Naxalites to surrender and warned that if the weapons are not given up then the government will have no other option.
