छत्तीसगढ़ के सुकमा-बीजापुर बॉर्डर पर नक्सलियों की ओर से घात लगाकर किए गए हमले में अबतक सुरक्षाबलों के 22 जवानों के शहीद होने की पुष्टि हो चुकी है और एक अभी भी लापता है. नक्सलियों ने सुरक्षा बलों के साथ हुए एक एनकाउंटर के बाद इस भयानक वारदात को अंजाम दिया है, जिसमें 31 जवान घायल भी हुए हैं और 15 से ज्यादा नकस्लियों के भी मारे जाने की खबर है.
