RJD leader was shot dead by criminals in Katihar, Bihar. The incident took place near the Kali temple in Salmari, in the Azamnagar block of the district. According to the information, the bike riding miscreants fired on Nirmal Boobna near their house. In this, Nirmal Bubna died on the spot. There was a stir in the area after the assassination of the RJD leader. As soon as the information of the case was received, the police team reached the spot and started investigating the incident.

बिहार के कटिहार में अपराधियों ने आरजेडी नेता की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। घटना जिले के आजमनगर प्रखंड की जहां सलमारी स्थित काली मंदिर के पास हुई। जानकारी के मुताबिक, बाइक सवार बदमाशों ने निर्मल बूबना पर उनके घर के पास ही ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग की। इसमें निर्मल बूबना की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। आरजेडी नेता की हत्या के बाद इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया। मामले की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और घटना की जांच में जुट गई है।
