Why NFL Star Richard Sherman Doesn't Touch Stocks Anymore | The Bullish Podcast
  • 3 years ago
NFL players are no strangers to big paydays and huge bankruptcies. A famous 2009 study by Sports Illustrated reported that 78% of NFL players go bankrupt within five years of retiring from professional football.

Super Bowl 48 champ Richard Sherman made a name for himself by taking control of his contract negotiations — without the help of an agent. In 2020, he launched a video series about financial literacy, Adulting With Richard Sherman.

The NFL champ joined the Bullish Podcast to explain how he started investing in Tesla as a student at Stanford and why he eventually got out of the stock market.
