Robert Williams Named Celtics Starter

Brad Stevens spoke with media in his pregame interview before the Celtics take on the Milwaukee Bucks in a rematch. When asked on Robert Williams and his role now since the Daniel Theis trade, Coach Stevens said Williams has shown more and more glimpses of his abilities, and his effort has been terrific. Brad also praised Daniel Theis on his leadership and defensive communication, stating that Boston will miss his presence and that others will have to step up in his place, including Robert Williams. The Celtics head coach also reflected on the departures of Jeff Teague and Javonte Green, and how the locker room will miss them. He also mentioned the addition of veteran sharpshooter Evan Fournier, who is receiving his physical in Boston and is potentially joining the team for their game tomorrow against Oklahoma City.
